Criminal Finances Act 2017 Statement

 

We have carried out an assessment regarding tax evasion as required. We are confident that it is not something we are doing.

 

The practice’s only source of income is from legal aid and we assess the Legal Aid Agency as a low risk of tax evasion, although we will keep an eye on them.

 

We will not be exercising any powers under section 303 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

 

Should we ever come across any reportable tax evasion we will report it immediately.
